Welcome To A New World

Do you realize that this is a completely new world that we are living in? Of course most things look the same, and aside from the obvious, like the global economic state, technology, and global warming, the world is in a completely new spin. If you look a little deeper you will notice that a lot of those usually subtle changes aren't so subtle anymore. For instance the weather, it's not so traditional nowadays. Winters, summers, springs, and falls seem to blend together more. It's not so easy to tell when one starts and the other ends. Rainy seasons and dry seasons have shifted from region to region. Also, there was a study that I read not so long ago stating that kids today are less empathetic than they were a few years ago.

On a more spiritual level, the energy around us has shifted. Nature isn't as forgiving when we make silly mistakes. There also seems to be a greater need or pull to move in a different direction, something other than the norm over the last three or four thousand years. Our conscience has shifted to another level. Those of us who recognize this shift are more in tuned and aware of the things happening around us. It's like we are waking up to reality, whether good or bad. We are being forced to take responsibility for our actions. No more scapegoating.

Because of these changes, all living things are having to re-adjust, reform, and adapt. In the near future it will become more and more apparent as these reforms start to take on a more distinctive appearance. I don't think it matters much if we try to resist, the major shifts have already taken place. We are already in a new world. Now is the time to embrace it and move forward.

Perhaps the Mayans were correct with their 2012 predictions. We are right around the corner from the year 2012, you know. I don't think the world will end, maybe it will, who knows, but I do think there will be a completely new reality that we will be living in.

Let's hope it's better than the reality that most of us have been living in up until now.
